Service for passengers was provided with class and distinction in each division, and meals served on china further enhanced a vacation. CPR was well aware of the value of this kind of service and offered it across their broad network of transportation.
Beautifully illustrated, the book is interesting and informative. The china patterns evoke memories of travelling in style, something that, sadly. doesn’t seem to happen as often in this day and age.
